Primitive/group camping sites are for campers to pitch their own tents on sites along the peninsula of Lake 6 (paddle boat lake). These sites have no electric, water, or sewer hook-ups available, but each site has a picnic table and a fire ring, with convenient access to nearby restrooms within the seasonal camping area.
Primitive site reservations have a minimum rental for three days and the maximum stay allowed is 14 days. No same-day reservations for these sites. Prior to arrival, a reservation needs to be made.
To check in, primitive campers will go to Station 35 first.
Primitive camp sites are NOT pet friendly.
Campers are expected to maintain and keep sites and camping areas clean. If the site is found not to be within Camp Dearborn's standards, a cleaning fee will be charged to the reservation holder's account.
It is expected for all guests to be aware of and know our Rules, Regulations and Policies to avoid any conflict or problems down the road when it comes to issues regarding noise complaints, visitors, pets, etc.
